Ingredients

  • 3 lb. cabbage
  • 2 green peppers
  • 2 onions
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. mustard seed
  • 1 jar pimento pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil sugar, vinegar, salt, mustard seed, and water for 3 minutes; then cool.
  2. Chop cabbage, green peppers, and onions.
  3. Pour the cooled vinegar mixture over the chopped vegetables.
  4. Refrigerate the slaw; it will keep for 2 to 3 weeks.
