Ingredients

  • 3 pt. milk
  • 5 heaping Tbsp. flour
  • 1 large Tbsp. butter
  • 6 eggs, separated
  • teacup sugar
  • lemon

Instructions

  1. Thicken the milk with flour and butter in a double boiler until it begins to thicken, then remove and let it cool.
  2. Beat the egg yolks with a teacup of sugar and add to the cooled mixture.
  3. Beat the egg whites to a stiff froth and gently fold them into the mixture.
  4. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and bake at 250°F until light brown.
  5. Add lemon flavor before serving.
