Instructions
- Put the beef and vegetables (onion, celery, carrots, potatoes) in a casserole.
- Do not brown the meat.
- Blend 2 teaspoons salt, 1 tablespoon sugar, and 3 tablespoons Minute tapioca.
- Sprinkle the mixture over the meat and vegetables.
- Add 1 cup of tomato juice.
- Cover the casserole.
- Bake for 4 hours at 250°F (120°C).
- Add 1 cup of water after baking.
- Use more tapioca to thicken if necessary.
- Do not peek during baking.
