Ingredients

  • 3 lb beef chuck roast
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1 package (1 oz) dry onion soup mix
  • 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Pour soy sauce and dry onion soup mix into the slow cooker and mix well.
  2. Place the beef chuck roast into the slow cooker.
  3. Add water until the top 1/2 inch of the roast is not covered.
  4. Sprinkle freshly ground black pepper over the top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 22 hours.
