Snowball Puffs

Light and fluffy snowball puffs are sweet, coconut-coated treats with a hint of vanilla and jelly, perfect for snacking or festive gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 cups flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3 egg whites

Instructions

  1. Beat all ingredients by hand until well combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form, then gently fold into the batter.
  3. Drop teaspoonfuls of batter into hot oil and fry until golden brown.
  4. Remove from oil and allow to cool.
  5. Roll the cooled puffs in jelly, then coat with coconut.
