Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup uncooked rice
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
  • 2 teaspoons grated orange peel
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Instructions

  1. Prepare the rice by cooking it until tender.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease an 8-inch baking pan.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, lemon peel, orange peel, and vanilla.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the cooked rice and add the raisins.
  5. Sprinkle with cinnamon on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes until set and golden.
