Soft Bread Sticks(For Bread Machine)

- Place yeast, flour, sugar, herbs, oil, water, and salt in the bread machine pan and process on the dough setting.
- After the cycle is complete, remove the dough and place it on a lightly floured surface. Form into a tight ball.
- Cover with the bread machine pan and let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spritz two large baking sheets with cooking spray.
- Cut the dough into 16 equal pieces.
- Roll each piece into a 20-inch long rope.
- Place the bread sticks on the prepared baking sheets, spaced apart.
- Allow the sticks to rise until puffy, about 15 minutes.
- Brush each bread stick with the frothy beaten egg white.
- Sprinkle with kosher salt, sesame seeds, or poppy seeds as desired.
- Bake until golden brown, about 20 to 25 minutes.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
