Ingredients

  • 6 pork chops or steaks
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Flour the pork chops and brown them in butter.
  2. Remove the browned chops to a casserole dish.
  3. Thoroughly mix the cream of mushroom soup with water, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the soup mixture over the pork chops.
  5. If adding mushrooms, include them after the soup mixture.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 1 to 1½ hours, depending on thickness.
