Ingredients

  • 1 cup dry soy beans
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup tomato juice
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1/4 cup yeast flakes
  • 1/2 medium onion
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Soak the dry soy beans overnight.
  2. Rinse and drain the soaked soy beans.
  3. Combine the soy beans, tomato juice, peanut butter, salt, chopped celery, yeast flakes, chopped onion, and garlic powder in a blender.
  4. Blend until smooth.
  5. Remove from blender and add 1 cup of cornmeal.
  6. Place the mixture in a sprayed can and cover.
  7. Place in a crock-pot with 1 inch of water.
  8. Steam on high for 4 hours.
