Ingredients

  • 4 oz. spaghetti
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1/2 c. celery, chopped
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti as directed on the package.
  2. Melt butter in a frying pan and add chopped green pepper, onions, and celery.
  3. Cook slowly for 15 minutes, stirring a few times.
  4. Add canned tomatoes, salt, sugar, and black pepper to the pan.
  5. Continue cooking until the mixture is slightly thickened.
  6. Drain the cooked spaghetti and add it to the vegetable mixture, cooking together for 20 minutes.
  7. Cook steak until crumbly and slightly brown.
  8. Spread cooked steak on top of the spaghetti mixture before serving.
