Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 2 c. lima beans, canned
  • 1 1/2 c. grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Fry onion and pepper slowly in butter until golden.
  2. Add tomatoes; simmer 10 minutes.
  3. Add seasoning and well drained beans.
  4. Combine alternate layers of bean mixture and cheese in 1-quart casserole.
  5. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
