Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 quarts orange juice, chilled
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream
  • 1 quart ginger ale, chilled
  • ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs until thickened.
  2. Add sugar, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and ground cloves to the eggs and mix well.
  3. Pour in the chilled orange juice and lemon juice, and stir thoroughly.
  4. Pour 1 cup of the mixture into a punch bowl.
  5. Add vanilla ice cream to the punch bowl.
  6. Gradually add the chilled ginger ale to the mixture, stirring gently.
  7. Add the remaining egg mixture into the punch bowl and mix gently.
  8. Sprinkle ground nutmeg on top before serving.
