Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 4 slices onion
  • 4 slices tomato
  • 4 pepper rings
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • water
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Brown the pork chops in fat in a frying pan.
  2. Pour off the fat from the pan.
  3. Place a slice of onion, a slice of tomato, and a pepper ring on top of each chop.
  4. Evenly distribute the rice over the meat.
  5. Sprinkle salt and pepper over everything.
  6. Pour water over the ingredients to cover.
  7. Cover tightly and cook over low heat for 45 minutes.
