Ingredients

  • 2 squares chocolate
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate and margarine together. Let cool slightly.
  2. Add eggs, sugar, flour, baking powder, and a dash of salt. Mix well.
  3. Beat the mixture until smooth and then add vanilla.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
