Spiced eggs are a delightful appetizer featuring creamy yolk filling seasoned with mustard, butter, and paprika, perfect for brunch or entertaining guests.

Ingredients

  • 6 hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 Tbsp prepared mustard
  • 2 tsp soft butter or margarine
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the eggs, then remove shells and cut eggs in half.
  2. Remove yolks and mash to a smooth paste, adding mustard, butter, salt, pepper, and sugar.
  3. Press the yolk mixture into the egg white halves, shaping into a round top.
  4. Sprinkle with paprika before serving.
