Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/3 cup shortening
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375°F.
  2. Grease cookie sheets.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together margarine, shortening, and sugars.
  4. Add eggs and beat until blended.
  5. Add flour, baking powder, soda, salt, and vanilla; stir until well blended.
  6. Stir in Rice Krispies cereal.
