Ingredients

  • 2 cups Creamettes noodles
  • 3 quarts water
  • 1/2 stick low-fat margarine
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese powder
  • 1 (8 oz.) bag chips
  • parsley

Instructions

  1. Bring a 3-quart pan of water to a boil.
  2. Cook the Creamettes noodles in the boiling water until tender, then drain using a strainer.
  3. Preheat the oven and prepare a casserole dish.
  4. In a saucepan, melt the low-fat margarine over low heat.
  5. Stir in the milk and Cheddar cheese powder until well blended.
  6. Combine the cooked noodles with the cheese sauce and mix thoroughly.
  7. Transfer the mixture to the casserole dish.
  8. Top with chips and sprinkle with parsley.
  9. Bake until heated through and bubbly, approximately 15 minutes.
