Ingredients

  • 1 large garlic clove, minced
  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon marjoram
  • dash of Tabasco
  • 1 cup fine bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup sherry
  • 3 pounds peeled, deveined shrimp
  • lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Combine garlic, butter, salt, marjoram, and Tabasco. Cream together.
  2. Add bread crumbs and toss until shrimp are well coated.
  3. Arrange shrimp in a single layer on a baking dish.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for 20 to 25 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle with parsley if desired before baking.
  6. After baking, lightly squeeze lemon wedges over the shrimp.
