Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 5 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crust (15 oz.)

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, brown sugar, flour, and ground allspice, then toss gently with fresh blueberries and lemon juice.
  2. Fit one pie crust into a 9-inch pie plate according to package directions.
  3. Spoon the blueberry mixture into the pie shell.
  4. Cover with the remaining pie crust, fold and crimp the edges.
  5. Brush the top crust with melted butter, then sprinkle with sugar.
  6. Cut vents in the crust to allow steam to escape.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 45 minutes or until golden brown.
