Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lb. chicken wings
  • 3/4 c. soy sauce
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. peanut oil
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 c. sherry or Port wine

Instructions

  1. Arrange chicken wings in a shallow baking dish.
  2. Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, peanut oil, dry mustard, and sherry or Port wine.
  3. Heat the mixture until the sugar is dissolved.
  4. Cool the marinade.
  5. Pour the marinade over the chicken wings.
  6. Marinate for 4 hours or longer.
  7. Bake in the marinade at 350°F for 30 to 35 minutes, turning once and basting occasionally while cooking.
  8. Drain the wings on paper towels.
  9. Serve hot or cold.
