Ingredients
- 2 firm mangoes, peeled and sliced into strips ⓘ
- 1 sweet red pepper, seeded and cut into thin strips ⓘ
- 1 sweet onion (purple, red, Vidalia, Texas 1015 or Maui), cut into thin strips
- 6 green onions, cut into thin strips ⓘ
- 1 poblano chili pepper (optional) ⓘ
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro ⓘ
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice ⓘ
- 1 to 2 teaspoons dried crushed red pepper ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon salt ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper ⓘ
Instructions
- Combine mango, red pepper, and onion strips in a large bowl; set aside.
- Cut poblano chili pepper into quarters; remove seeds and membranes.
- Cut the poblano into thin strips and add to the mango mixture.
- Add green onions, lime juice, crushed red pepper, salt, and black pepper; toss to coat.
- Cover and chill before serving.
