Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 pkg. Lipton spring vegetable soup mix
  • 1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 loaf Hawaiian Bread

Instructions

  1. Thaw the frozen chopped spinach and drain it well.
  2. Combine the drained spinach, mayonnaise, sour cream, Lipton spring vegetable soup mix, chopped water chestnuts, and chopped onion in a bowl.
  3. Chill the mixture until ready to serve.
  4. Cut a hole in the top of the Hawaiian bread large enough to hold the dip.
  5. Pour the chilled dip into the hollowed-out bread.
  6. Cut pieces of bread for dipping and serve. The dip can also be used as a vegetable dip.
