Spinach Stew

A hearty spinach stew with fragrant spices, tender meat or fish, and fresh vegetables, perfect for a comforting meal that pairs well with rice, potatoes, or bread.

Ingredients

  • Puritan oil
  • 1 large green pepper, sliced or chopped
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • any meat or fish as desired
  • 1 large onion (white/red), sliced
  • 1 tsp. dill powder
  • 1 small can tomatoes
  • frozen chopped spinach

Instructions

  1. Using a medium pot, pour Puritan oil into the pot and warm it.
  2. Cut the onion and fry it in the oil, then add the green pepper, tomatoes, and meat or fish.
  3. Add the dill powder and cinnamon and stir well.
  4. Let all cook for about 10 minutes.
  5. Add the frozen chopped spinach to the pot.
  6. Bring to a boil until the spinach is thawed and mixed with the other ingredients.
  7. Cook until tender, stirring constantly.
  8. Serve over rice, potatoes, or bread.
