Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. asparagus
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Trim off the white ends of the asparagus and slice diagonally.
  2. Bring water to a boil and cook the asparagus for 3 to 5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  3. Drain the cooked asparagus and transfer to a bowl.
  4. Mix soy sauce, sugar, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
  5. Marinate the asparagus in the sauce for at least 1 hour.
  6. Serve the salad cold.
