Ingredients

  • 2 pt. fresh strawberries
  • 2 Tbsp. cold water
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. granulated gelatin
  • 1/4 c. cold water

Instructions

  1. Wash and clean strawberries; discard hulls.
  2. Measure 3 cups of strawberries and cut into small, bite-sized pieces.
  3. Place strawberries in a heavy pan with 2 tablespoons of cold water and lemon juice.
  4. Partially crush the berries and bring to a boil.
  5. Stir and cook rapidly about 5 minutes until berries are cooked and the mixture thickens.
