Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 c. vegetable cooking oil
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 lemon instant pudding mix
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 can Sprite soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavor
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. lemon flavor

Instructions

  1. Pour cooking oil, 3 whole eggs, 2 egg whites, sugar, and pudding mix into a mixing bowl and mix well.
  2. Sift together the plain flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  3. Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients along with Sprite soda and mix until smooth.
  4. Stir in vanilla flavor and lemon flavor.
  5. Pour the batter into a prepared baking pan and bake at 350°F for 25 minutes.
