Ingredients

  • 4 yellow squash
  • 1 onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash the squash and boil until tender.
  2. Drain and mash the squash.
  3. Add chopped onion, egg, flour, salt, and pepper to the mashed squash and mix well.
  4. Press the mixture into cakes by hand.
  5. Fry the cakes in oil until they are brown on both sides.
