- Cook the frozen mashed squash according to package instructions using only 2 tablespoons water and 2 tablespoons butter.
- Beat the eggs until well combined.
- Mix the beaten eggs, tomato sauce, minced onion, salt, and pepper together.
- Add the egg mixture to the cooked squash and stir well.
- Pour the mixture into a greased ring mold.
- Place the mold in a pan of hot water.
- Bake at 350°F for 1 1/2 hours until set and golden.
