Ingredients

  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. boiled squash
  • 2 c. chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp. flour

Instructions

  1. In a small skillet, sauté the chopped onion until soft.
  2. Place the sautéed onion, boiled squash, and chicken broth in a blender.
  3. Blend until smooth and well combined.
  4. Add flour and blend again just to mix.
  5. Pour the mixture into a saucepan.
  6. Fold in half and half.
  7. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  8. Serve immediately.
