Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hot sausage
  • 1 large green pepper
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 2 envelopes Lipton chicken noodle soup with chicken bits
  • 1/2 cup raw rice
  • 4.5 cups water

Instructions

  1. Brown the sausage and drain excess fat.
  2. Brown the green pepper and celery; cook until tender.
  3. Mix the chicken noodle soup, raw rice, and water in a pot.
  4. Cook for about 5 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked sausage, peppers, and celery to the mixture.
  6. Pour everything into a casserole dish and bake at 350°F for about 45 minutes.
