Ingredients

  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 Tbsp salt or salt substitute
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp catsup
  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 3 lb sirloin or chuck steaks

Instructions

  1. Mash garlic and salt together, then add soy sauce, catsup, oil, black pepper, and oregano to create the marinade.
  2. Score the steaks 1/4 inch deep on both sides.
  3. Rub the marinade into the steaks thoroughly.
  4. Wrap the steaks in waxed paper and chill overnight.
  5. Grill over charcoal to the desired doneness.
