Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb. round or flank steak
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. catsup
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano

Instructions

  1. Trim fat from the steak and pound the meat with a mallet.
  2. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, catsup, vegetable oil, crushed garlic, salt, black pepper, and oregano.
  3. Place the steak in a shallow baking pan.
  4. Pour the marinade over the steak and let stand for at least 30 minutes or refrigerate to do ahead.
  5. Broil or grill the steak for 5 minutes on each side.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy.
