Ingredients

  • 1 lb. beef steak, cut in strips
  • 1 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can mushroom gravy
  • 1/2 envelope (about 2 Tbsp.) spaghetti sauce mix with mushrooms
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 3 to 4 medium zucchini, cut in 1 1/2-inch slices
  • hot cooked noodles or rice

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, quickly brown the beef in hot oil.
  2. Add the mushroom gravy, water, and spaghetti sauce mix with mushrooms, then stir.
  3. Cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add the zucchini, then cover and cook for an additional 10 to 12 minutes or until zucchini reaches desired tenderness.
  5. Serve over hot cooked noodles or rice.
