Ingredients

  • 1/2 head cabbage, chopped
  • 4 green peppers, cored and diced
  • 7 Tbsp. beef bouillon
  • 2 tsp. paprika
  • 1 envelope brown gravy mix
  • 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 7 c. water

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef until done; drain.
  2. In a large pot, combine cooked beef, chopped cabbage, diced green peppers, beef bouillon, paprika, brown gravy mix, and water.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for 1 hour or until vegetables are tender.
  4. Serve hot over mashed potatoes.
  5. Season to taste before serving.
