Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup oil
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 2 cups cold coffee
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Put flour, 1 1/2 cups sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt into an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch metal baking pan.
  2. Stir with a fork to mix.
  3. Form 3 wells in the flour mixture. Pour oil into one well, vinegar into the second, and vanilla into the third.
  4. Pour cold coffee over all ingredients and stir with a fork until well mixed.
  5. Do not beat the batter.
  6. Combine remaining sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the batter.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 35 to 40 minutes.
