Ingredients

  • 6 cups water
  • 3 large carrots, diced
  • 4 stalks celery, diced
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 large gray stone from yard, scrubbed clean
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 6 beef bouillon cubes
  • 3 large potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup chopped cabbage
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt

Instructions

  1. Scrub and chop all vegetables.
  2. Put the clean stone in a large pot.
  3. Add water, diced carrots, diced celery, canned tomatoes, chopped onions, beef bouillon cubes, diced potatoes, chopped cabbage, and salt to the pot.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour or until vegetables are tender.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy.
