Strawberry Glace

A vibrant strawberry gelatin dessert layered with cream cheese balls and strawberries, topped with sherbet — perfect for special occasions or refreshing summer treats.

Ingredients

  • 2 small packages strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 pint whole strawberries, sweetened
  • pineapple sherbet

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the strawberry gelatin in boiling water in a bowl.
  2. Stir in the cold water and chill until slightly thickened.
  3. Soften the cream cheese and shape into small balls.
  4. Roll the cream cheese balls in chopped nuts.
  5. Place alternate layers of cheese balls and sweetened strawberries in a 9-inch ring mold, covering each layer with gelatin.
  6. Chill until the mixture is firm.
  7. Unmold the dessert onto a serving dish and fill the center with pineapple sherbet.
