Ingredients

  • 1 c. shortening
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. half and half
  • 2 3/4 c. sifted flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder

Instructions

  1. Cream shortening and sugar well.
  2. Add milk and flour alternately, last portion of milk last.
  3. If it is too stiff, thin with cream.
  4. Drop by teaspoon on hot iron.
  5. When baked, place roller on top of rack and roll up in rolls.
