Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb bacon
  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb round steak, cubed
  • 3 to 4 carrots, sliced
  • 1/2 medium onion, sliced
  • 5 to 6 medium to large potatoes, sliced

Instructions

  1. Place bacon, cubed round steak, sliced carrots, and sliced potatoes in an electric frying pan in a single layer, starting with bacon on the bottom.
  2. Sprinkle salt and pepper on top to taste.
  3. Cook at 325°F for 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. Then, turn the heat down to 275°F and cook for an additional 45 minutes.
