Ingredients

  • 1 whole camel
  • 1 whole lamb
  • 20 whole chickens
  • 60 eggs
  • 12 kilos rice
  • 2 kilos pine nuts
  • 2 kilos almonds
  • 1 kilo pistachio nuts
  • 110 gallons water
  • 5 tablespoons black pepper

Instructions

  1. Skin, trim, and clean the camel, lamb, and chickens.
  2. Boil the camel, lamb, and chickens until tender, ensuring your pot is large enough.
  3. Cook rice until fluffed.
  4. Fry pine nuts, almonds, and pistachios until brown; mix with cooked rice.
  5. Hard boil the eggs and peel them.
  6. Stuff each chicken with eggs and rice.
  7. Stuff the lamb with five of the prepared chickens and some rice.
  8. Stuff the camel with the lamb and more rice.
  9. Broil the stuffed camel in a large oven or near a gas flame until browned.
  10. Spread the remaining rice mixture on a large tray and place the camel on top.
  11. Arrange the remaining stuffed chickens around the camel.
  12. Decorate the rice with boiled eggs and nuts.
  13. Serve to 80 to 100 guests.
