- Cut the loaf in half lengthwise and tear out the soft center of the bread, leaving the crust intact.
- Place the crust shells on foil-covered cookie sheets.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Stir in minced garlic and sesame seeds; cook for 1 to 2 minutes, being careful not to burn the garlic.
- Add bread chunks to the skillet and cook until golden brown and the butter has been absorbed.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, combine sour cream, Parmesan cheese, lemon-pepper seasoning, and Jack cheese.
- Stir in artichoke hearts, toasted bread with garlic butter, and sesame seeds.
- Mix well and spoon the mixture back into the bread shells.
- Cover with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes.
- Let rest for 5 to 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
