Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 2/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 10 oz. frozen chopped spinach

Instructions

  1. Mix ground beef, seasoned bread crumbs, 1/2 cup ketchup, milk, and egg in a large bowl until blended.
  2. Pat half of the meat mixture into the bottom of an 8-inch square pan.
  3. Layer with thawed and squeezed chopped spinach, then cheese.
  4. Top with the remaining meat mixture.
  5. Spread 1/3 cup of ketchup on top of the meat loaf.
  6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30 to 35 minutes until cooked through.
