Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. sliced onion
  • 2 c. sliced carrots
  • 4 c. sliced potatoes
  • 2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1/3 c. milk
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in a skillet; drain excess fat.
  2. Place the cooked beef in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch casserole dish.
  3. Layer sliced onion, carrots, and potatoes over the beef.
  4. In a bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour the soup mixture over the layered vegetables.
  6. Cover the casserole with aluminum foil.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 1/2 hours until tender and bubbly.
