Ingredients

  • 5 or 6 dry bread slices
  • broth or hot water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Break the bread into small pieces.
  2. Pour enough broth or hot water over the bread to moisten it.
  3. Add eggs, chopped onion, salt, and pepper to the bread mixture.
  4. Mix well until the mixture is moist but not dry.
  5. Pour the dressing onto the steak.
  6. Roll the steak like a jelly roll and tie in 2 to 3 places with kitchen twine or toothpicks.
  7. Bake in an electric skillet at 350°F for 1 hour or more, until cooked through.
