Ingredients

  • 1 package chicken, cut up
  • 2 packages onion soup mix
  • 1/2 to 1 cup sliced mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cut up the chicken into serving pieces.
  3. Roll the chicken pieces in the two packages of onion soup mix until well coated.
  4. Place the coated chicken in a baking pan and cover with foil, poking holes in the foil.
  5. Bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
  6. Remove the foil, add sliced mushrooms over the chicken.
  7. Bake uncovered for an additional 30 minutes, or until mushrooms are tender and chicken is cooked through.
