Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups 10x sugar, sifted
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped blanched almonds
  • 2 cups quaker oats
  • flaked or shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. Beat together butter and sugar until creamy.
  2. Blend in cocoa and almond extract; mix thoroughly.
  3. Stir in chopped blanched almonds and oats. Chill dough until stiff.
  4. Break off pieces of dough and shape them into balls.
  5. Roll the balls in shredded coconut; chill before serving.
