Sugared Cranberry Trail Mix
A crunchy, sweet and salty trail mix featuring sugared cranberries, toasted almonds, and pretzels, perfect for snacking on hikes or as a festive treat.

Instructions
- Spread almonds evenly on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 7 or 8 minutes or until nuts are slightly darker in color.
- Cool completely on the pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine dried cranberries and pretzels.
- In a small bowl, whisk the egg white until frothy.
- Add granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt to the egg white and mix well.
- Gently toss the cranberries and pretzels with the sugared egg white mixture until evenly coated.
- Spread the coated mixture on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Let the trail mix cool completely before storing.
