Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups tomato juice
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons chives
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 to 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon powdered ginger
  • cold water with ice added

Instructions

  1. Pour tomato juice, lemon juice, hot sauce, curry powder, chives, brown sugar or molasses, vinegar, and powdered ginger into a large jug or thermos.
  2. Mix well to combine all ingredients thoroughly.
  3. Add cold water with ice to the mixture to chill.
  4. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to enjoy.
