Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1/4 cup cooking oil
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Sift flour, salt, and baking powder together three times for a finer texture.
  3. Add cooking oil and milk to the dry ingredients.
  4. Knead the dough 5 to 6 times.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut with a round cutter.
  6. Pour about 3 tablespoons of oil into the bottom of a pan.
  7. Place the biscuits in the pan, no room between them, and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
  8. Serve warm with butter and honey.
