- Reduce heat slightly and simmer until reduced to about 3 cups.
- Remove from heat; stir in lemon juice.

- Slowly pour the mixture back into the remaining broth, stirring constantly.
- Add white wine, cooked brown rice, and pepper to taste.
- Cook over low heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until the mixture just begins to boil.
- Remove from heat immediately and garnish with onion and lemon slices.
